Return & Refund Policy

Please allow 24 hours for a response to all inquiries. We carefully inspect each product and package before every shipment. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on used candles. However, if any product(s) have been damaged during shipment, or defective please contact us by email @ candlessorare@gmail.com within 72 hours for assistance. Misuse of your product(s) are not considered defective and are ineligible for return or refund.  Please provide photographic proof of the damaged or defective item(s) to @candlessorare@gmail.com. Once your return has been approved, we will either provide you with a refund excluding shipping charges or a replacement of an equal value.

Returns

  1. Eligibility for Returns:

    • We must be notified 72 hours after you receive the item of issue.
    • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
    • The item must be in the original packaging.
    • A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  2. Non-returnable Items:

    • Gift cards
    • Sale items (only regular-priced items may be refunded)
    • Candles
  3. Return Process:

    • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at [candlessorare@gmail.com] with your order number and reason for the return.
    • Our team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return your item.
  4. Shipping:

    • Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
    • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
    • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds

  1. Refund Process:
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will 

      notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

      • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
      1. Late or Missing Refunds:
        • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
        • Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
        • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

      Exchanges

      1. Damaged or Defective Items:

        • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
        • If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at candlessorare@gmail.com 
      2. Incorrect Items:

        • If you received the wrong item, please contact us at candlessorare@gmail.com with your order number and details of the incorrect product. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you.

      Gifts

      1. Gift Returns:
        • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
        • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
